The Direct Intake Airsystem (DIA) is ideal for high performance and racing applications but is equally suitable for both track and street. The unique construction of the DIA results in both increased power and fuel economy. 

The DIA filtering system is composed of a plastic air box containing the same washable filtration element unique to all BMC Air Filters

The universal kit also contains a flexible tube to carry fresh air to the inside of the air box, a connector sleeve and two reducers to allow installation in more popular applications.

As air enters the DIA, it is accelerated by the conical air flow deflector which ensures that the aspirated air is carried to the engine at a speed and capacity superior to the traditional systems.


The DIA is available in two versions:

DIA70-130 (includes reducers) - recommended for applications up to 1600 cc

DIA85-150 (includes reducers) - recommended for applications over 1600 cc
